Frankfurt Soundwalk

A short field-recording study made in Frankfurt, moving through three distinct sites: the interior of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, the city's central station; a garden; and street traffic — a small taxonomy of urban sound environments captured on foot.

Made three years after Bali Soundscape, the walk turns the same field-recording method toward an unfamiliar European city rather than a Balinese temple ceremony, setting two very different public sound-worlds side by side within the same body of work.
