Hutan Plastik

Multichannel ambisonic composition · acousmatic diffusion · audiovisual version with generative image · 2025

Hutan Plastik — plastic forest — is built from field recordings and synthesis, diffused multichannel until the room itself becomes the instrument rather than a container for one. It places a listener inside an environment under slow, accumulating pressure: land and extraction in Indonesia rendered as a sonic condition instead of an argument.

One work carrying both national industry recognition and international festival presentation, in a category created the year it was nominated.
