Continuum

Commissioned for the Jakarta Arts Council's annual cultural address, Continuum takes a single filmed body and subjects it to progressive computational dissolution — from architectural space, through smeared motion-history, into a framed and re-framed image, and finally into pure texture where the figure survives only as a disturbance in the surface.

The work was made for a national platform in a year when public gathering was impossible, and it treats that condition structurally: presence degrading into representation, and representation degrading into signal.
